Personality:
Syaoran has a " I don't give a fuck " attitude, and not in a jerky way. He truely does not care and is unsurprised by most things.( i.e, you tell him you're pregnant, or you have a big disease. It doesn't phase him.) Syaoran also has a soft spot for children. Due to his history, he believes that they should remain pure as long as they have the chance. They shouldn't have to go through anything tramatic if they don't have too.
He is very wary when it comes to older women. After how his mother was; he doesn't trust them until he truly gets to know them. He is very judgemental/Skeptical on everyone. He will make an overall judgement on everyone before they even open their mouths. Then just file it away in his mind and do what needs to be done, because in the end he really doesn't care.
He loves his team as his own father and will do anything to protect them; even if he doesn't show it. They have given him his sanity and though he has not told them. He is highly grateful to them for it.
Syaoran can also be very personable when he choses to be. When he lets the bored look on his face go; it often subsides into a calm, soft look that people are eased by. He often uses this look when he is around children.
He often avoids anything that has to do with reading because he doesn't want to appear a fool when he is on missions. He doesn't want it to hurt his credibility when it comes to getting hired. He will get anyone around him to read something for him if he can and will stay away from libraries. The only time he seems to push past this is if a child asks him to read a book to them. In which case he will sometimes struggle in reading it; and then have to explain his situation. Which does not bother him at all. He is glad to show them that anything is possible with hard work.


Syaoran was born in Konohagakure Hospital. His mother at the time was only 18, and his father 20. Unmarried, they quickly made the decision to marry about a week after his was born. They figured that would be best for their child. To have a stable home. At the age of 6 he entered the academy. He had inherited dyslexia from his fathers side which made things tough through school. He received no special treatment, but was required to have extra classes after school to help him push through this. Several children made fun of him for his dyslexia, but he was too busy struggling to notice. He remained strictly B's until his parents began divorcing at the age of 9. To which his grades dropped to around D's and a few F's.
Syaoran walked in on his mother with another man. He tried to look past it and forget everything because he loved his mother, but when his father found out. Shit hit the fan. There was screaming, and over use of profanity. Syaoran felt rage building up inside him. Their divorce put a big strain on his well being. It lasted two years before it was finally finished.During that time he gained a massive amount of weight, and his grades dropped heavily. He had become outwardly violent at home as well.
His knowledge of his family began to expand. He found out that his mother had cheated on his father three different times and spent time with their families instead of him. He was hurt and resented his mother, and most older females. His father found proof of her betrayl and gained main custody of his son. Syaoran only had to visit her every other weekend, and one month out of the summer. He began to figure out even more secrets about his family.
Things that had been originally hidden from him began to spill out. Things like how his mother hadn't even wanted him the first two years of his life. How his father had almost put him up for adoption, and that his mother tried to kill him due to post-partem depression after his birth.
His father tried to get him into counciling in order to help him deal with his feelings, but every time he would have a breakthrough; his mother would disregard his feelings and tell him he's wrong. Sending him back into a recoil.
At the age of 12 his violence faded. Everyone thought this was a break through, however he just didn't care anymore. He lost most of his feelings, and nothing surprised him. Almost as if he had given up. The only enoyment he received was after graduating and being put into his four man squad.
His Sensei was a woman. Which he was reluctant to like at first. However, over time, he began to see the differences in she and his mother, and began to accept her. After he past those feelings; Syaoran was able to feel the enjoyment of leaving home. He didn't have to deal with anything and could just leave it at home. He shut everyone else out, save for his team.
His father was upset that Syaoran stopped talking to him, and often tried to provoke him to open up. He noticed how Syaoran began to react with his team and eventually left him alone. He was just glad that Syaoran was opening up to someone and not bottling everything up.
Over the next three years Syaoran began to retain a more calmer disposition. He kept his " I don't give a fuck " attitude because thats what he had been set in for so long, but he felt it easier to open up and be relaxed. His team had become a valuable outlet for him, and somewhat of a therapy.
He has a great respect for his father, and absolutely none for his mother. He still cannot stand her. At the age of 15 he was given the choice to stay with his dad completely. Syaoran, of course, snatched up the oppurtunity of being able to never have to stay with his mother.
He currently lives with his father and does random missions headed his way.

Goals: He wants to make it to a jonin or anbu level, and eventually have a family of his own. He also wants to be able to forgive his mother, but cannot bring himself to do it.
Random: His fringe of hair between his eyes sometimes gets caught in his nose piercing, and he often complains about it. His team tells him he should keep it trimmed, but he never listens.

Relationships With Cannon and Other

Akira , Teammate
Syaoran likes Akira's attitude. Due to her shyness,she doesn't cause very many problems. Unlike himself, she doesn't put put up with stupid and on the rare occasion her temper flares; he tends to have to deal with her snide comments. Overall though, they get along well and he loves her like a sister. Due to their heights; he often sees her as a little sister rather than an older sister(she is older). Her jealousy sometimes gets on his nerves, but he tends to brush it off and look past it. He will got to her for advice only when he really feels the need to talk about things.

Kyushi, Teammate
At first Syaoran couldn't stand Kyushi due to the fact that he had picked on him. He didn't let it show when they were put in a team and he knew that kyushi couldn't stand it. Eventually, when Kyushi stopped lieing, they became close. He never cared that Kyushi got all the attention. Which worked well when they were together. They both enjoy getting manicures together, but they keep it a secret between them. He likes having someone who is like a brother because he is an only child.

Neji
Syaoran befriended Neji due to his calm and collected nature. He doesn't have to worry about being interrupted when they're together. Often, Neji will mediate while he is making candles or sewing. They have a relationship where no words are needed. They just understand the need for peace from their fellow teams.

Choji
Both Choji and Syaoran like to eat. Syaoran will sometimes spend his days with choji at different restaurants discussing different types of foods and what places have the best deals and the best flavors. They get along and both are beneficial in finding out what food they should consume next.

Hinata
While Akira does not like Hinata, Syaoran does. She shares Akira's shyness so he has become accustomed to that type of personality. Unlike Akira though, she can be walked all over. He often has a hard time hearing what she is saying, but tries to listen to her anyway. Syaoran likes the girl, and a lot of the time talks to her about the children. Due to her being another girl other than Akira; he asks how to approach them and advice on taking care of them. Even though she has had no children of her own; he values her opinion on them.
